Announcements and Reminders:                  The BIG Fat Greek test is coming up -- likely on September 25.

Targets for Today:  I know about the 14 major Greek gods and some of the minor gods.    I  also know about 8 Greek heroes -- coming next time.

Today’s  Agenda: Individual reading time. -- If you wish, you may read a "comic strip" about Hercules from the green literature textbook.  or  Finish "Pantheon" in your composition book, if needed.  Have it checked off.                    The assignment was to draw each of the 14 major Greek Gods such that they are each recognizable.  (Use their particular characteristics and symbols.)  Did everyone get the "what you need to know for the test" paper? Did we finish watching the video about Hercules last time?  ____________________________________________ Review of Gods and Minor Gods --                    The "Whom Should I Pray To -- if I were an Ancient Greek?" Game Next time --  Then, on to  More Heroes  Jigsaw --  Achilles and the Trojan War Ajax Atalanta Belierophon and the Chimera Jason Odysseus Perseus and Medusa  Theseus and the Minotaur  5 groups
