Announcements and Reminders for Tuesday, January 22, 2019: Pick up your composition book. Hand in your disclosure document if you haven't yet done that.  Don't forget to contribute to Penny Wars this week!                This there will be Talent Shows for each class during CaveTime.                 On Wednesdays, Mock Trial meets in our classroom during Cavetime, so there is no intervention Cavetime.      Thursdays are Request Day, so on some Thursdays we will have open intervention, on others, not.

Targets for Today: I understand the Greek Creation Myth. I am becoming an expert on the topic I chose in Greek Mythology.

Τἑ Τιτανομαχυ ωας τἑ τεν υεαρ ωαρ  βετωεεν τἑ Τιτανς ανδ τἑ Ολυμπιανς.  By the way, your work in your composition book will receive points that will be part of your grade.  Minor Gods -- Finish presenting the minor gods.  Share your notes with me on Google Classroom!  Review of Minor Gods -- Kahoot     Working Time   Reminder of what you are working on:  First Priority -- Chromebooks -- Time to work on increasing your expertise on the topic you chose. Preparing your own slides -- 2 or 3 and share them with me on Google Classroom.   Or you may use Prezi or another way to teach about your topic.  You will be presenting today to the class with slides and information you share.    Where did they come from?  What relationships do they have with other gods, creatures, heroes? What are they known for?  When you are ready for your presentation or have already given it, work on your creation mural.   It should be finished or almost finished by the end of class.  Creation Mural Assignment:   Grading: Greek Creation Mural for King Minos -- Four scenes are included. Each clearly represents one of the possible scenes. Each is neatly drawn. Figures clearly represent the characters from the myth and are clothed. The mural is colored. Present Heros, Monsters, and Other Creatures. Take notes in your composition book.  Remember that you may use your own composition book on the test!   We viewed the presentations up to Bellerophon.
