3.  Gallery Walk -- Add to your notes.  You should have a page in your notebook for each of these 14 major gods.
  Pilgrimages to visit the Gods
  • Now that you know the gods, it is time to honor the gods.  We are going to make pilgrimages, journeys to the shrines of the gods.  The shrines are posted around the room. At each shrine is a story or two about the god.
    • When you reach the shrine, place an offering upon the altar and read a story or two about that god and their dealings with mortals. (Your offering will be written on a sticky note and posted close to the shrine. For instance, for Demeter, I would write "wheat cakes" or something else that has to do with growing things.)
      • Take notes, not super extensive notes, but most important details, highlights -- Use the pages you have already set up for each of the major gods.
        • Example: Hades kidnapped Demeter’s daughter Persephone.  Pomegranate seeds
    • Visit as many shrines as you can.
    • You can journey with other pilgrims or go alone.
