Announcements and Reminders for Friday, April 26, 2019:                           Remember that on Monday, May 6,  our schedule will change and lunch will come after all four classes.

Targets for Today: I understand the Norse story of Ragnarok, the end of the world. I know the events that will precede Ragnarok, who will fight whom, who will kill whom, and what will happen after Ragnarok. I can contrast and compare the Marvel movie version of Ragnarok and the Norse gods with Norse myth.

Today’s  Agenda for Friday, April 26, 2019: Ragnarok Today!!!  1. Translate: , 2. We Didn't Start the Fire -- Marvel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-onk-Qm7ATw 3. Read about Ragnarok with a partner or two, taking notes in your composition book. What will happen that will show Ragnarok is coming? List the major events.  Create a chart showing the two sides who will fight against each other and who will kill whom. What will happen after Ragnarok?  Who will survive?  4. For another viewpoint -- watch "clips" from the movie Thor:Ragnarok. To about 30:15      Left:  1:40:47         You may, if you wish, bring treats for next time.  We will watch more "clips."
